1. Covidiot : This kind of adjective is given to people who does not obey rules, guidelines basic hygiene norms laid by the officials to fight against the pandemic. A Covidiot will move around when asked not to, won’t wash hands or wont follow basic instructions highlighted to bring this pandemic to an end.
2. Covidient : This adjective is used for the people exact opposite of Covidiot, they will follow every possible step to avoid further spread of this highly contagious disease.
3. Prepper : These are the ones who will be prepared for extreme conditions, like a natural disaster, lock downs and even pandemics.
4. Zoom – Bombing : Imagine in a middle of a virtual meeting or video conference you get to see obscene graphics, offensive images and words…That phenomena is given a term as ‘Zoom – Bombing’.
5. Corona-Pocalypse : When a surge in number of fatalities lead us to think of the current situation as an Apocalypse that’s when we can related it to this brand new but daunting word – ‘Corona-Pocalypse’
So these are some of the brand new words found lately on social media channels these days. No matter what or how many new words are formed, our favorite word of all time will be ‘Janta Curfew’ originated and understood majorly in India however not being abruptly followed till date.
In conclusion, next time when we fall short of words try to use these new addons is possible.
